No cookies, no statistics, no ads. These pages set no cookies, store nothing in your browser and load nothing from third parties: fonts, videos and images come from our own server.
Server and Cloudflare. allmyprinters.com runs on the same server as 3DSEARCH (velia.net Internetdienste GmbH, Germany) and is delivered and protected against attacks by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA), which processes your IP address for this and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For every request the server logs IP address, date and time, the requested address, the previous page and the browser identifier, to find errors and fend off attacks. Logs are rotated weekly and deleted after five weeks at the latest. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Sign-up, sign-in and the tool run on 3dsearch.net. The 3DSEARCH privacy policy applies there – you’ll find it in full below.
Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR); you can complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority or the authority in your EU country. Write to [email protected].
3DSEARCH privacy policy (account and tool)
In short: You can search without an account and without giving us any data. Advertising cookies, personalised ads and our visitor statistics only run with your consent. We do not sell data. Below is exactly what we process, why, and what rights you have.
We have not appointed a data protection officer because we are not required to. For any privacy question, reach us at the addresses above.
Server. 3DSEARCH runs on a server of velia.net Internetdienste GmbH in Germany. The host processes data only on our behalf.
Cloudflare. The site is delivered and protected by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). Every request passes through Cloudflare's servers, which process your IP address to filter out attacks and bots. Cloudflare also provides the Turnstile spam check on the contact form and a script library (cdnjs) for the print queue. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site securely and fast (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Server logs. For every request the server stores the IP address, date and time, the address requested, the previous page (referrer) and the browser identifier. We need this to find errors and to fend off attacks and automated mass downloads (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are rotated weekly and deleted after five weeks at the latest.
For search suggestions, trends and statistics we store search terms without your IP address – only with the time and a number calculated from your IP address with a secret key that changes every week. This lets us count how many different visitors search for something; it cannot be traced back to you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a good search (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Please do not enter personal data into the search.
Image search and Print Doctor. An image you upload to the image search is analysed on our server and then discarded, not stored. The photo in the Print Doctor never leaves your browser. Translate on model pages uses a translation service on our own server.
Most preview images are delivered through our own image server, so your browser only talks to us. Exceptions:
- MakerWorld and MyMiniFactory: images come through the public image service wsrv.nl because these platforms do not deliver their images to our server directly. Your browser loads them there and sends your IP address to wsrv.nl.
- GrabCAD and Sketchfab: images come directly from the platform's servers, which see your IP address.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in being able to show preview images at all (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). When you click "Download" or the link to the original, you go to that platform, and its privacy policy applies.
For an account we store your name, email address, password (only as a one-way hash), optionally a display name, your language and when you last used the site. On top of that, whatever you create in your account: wishlist, collections, comments, makes, ratings, feedback, the keywords and designers you want to be notified about, and the data of "Printers & Filament" (section 11). Legal basis: the contract for using the account (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Publicly visible are your display name (or initials), your profile picture, public and shared collections, comments, makes and feedback posts.
Profile picture. If you sign in with Google, we take over your Google profile picture and serve it from our own server. Without a picture we show an image with your initials, which also comes from us.
Sign in with Google. Google sends us your name, email address and profile picture, never your password. You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account.
Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA). Sign-in, registration and the model submission form are protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3 (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland; Google LLC, USA, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). reCAPTCHA analyses your behaviour on the page and sends data, including your IP address, to Google. It only runs on those pages. Legal basis: legitimate interest in protecting accounts and forms from automated abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Google Privacy Policy.
Retention. Until you delete your account (Account → Settings → Delete account). We then delete the account with all associated data, except records we must keep for tax reasons (section 10).
Emails about your account – welcome, password, notifications you switched on yourself, printer alerts, invitations to shared collections, replies to your messages – are sent from our own mail server. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Turn notifications off under Notifications.
Newsletter. Now and then we email about new features and model tips. Accounts created from October 16, 2026 only get the newsletter if they agreed at registration or in their settings (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 174 Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021); we store when you agreed. Accounts created earlier keep getting it until they unsubscribe – our legitimate interest in telling existing users about our own, similar features (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every newsletter or under Account → Settings → Newsletter. To make sure you get nothing more, we put your address on a block list (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR). We do not track whether you open emails or click links in them.
When you write to us through the contact form, the feedback board or "Report content", we store what you send (name, email address, message, the content concerned if any) to handle your request and reply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where it concerns your account or a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in handling it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); for reports under the Digital Services Act also Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. We keep requests as long as needed to handle them and for possible follow-up questions; you can ask us to delete them at any time. Posts on the feedback board are public.
If you allow push notifications, we store the delivery address your browser creates for this, your language and – if you are signed in – the link to your account. Messages are delivered through your browser vendor's push service (for example Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). To withdraw, switch push off in your account settings or your browser; the delivery address is then deleted.
Strictly necessary storage
Without consent we only store what the site needs to work (§ 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021):
auth_token– keeps you signed in (until you sign out or the session expires)PHPSESSID– session for ratings and makes (until you close the browser)lang– your language (1 year);3ds_tc– the design you chosenl_oi– remembers your newsletter checkbox for 15 minutes when you register with Google- in local storage: light/dark mode (
3ds_theme), dismissed hints, drafts and settings of "Printers & Filament", and a counter of recent page views that pauses ads during automatic reload loops (3ds_pv,3ds_ads_hold)
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We fund the site with ads from Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland; Google LLC, USA, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). The ad script loads on every page because it also contains Google's consent dialog; in doing so Google receives your IP address and browser details. Advertising cookies and personalised ads only start once you agree in the dialog (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021). Without consent Google shows at most limited, non-personalised ads. Google is responsible for the advertising itself. Supporters see no ads, and we show none on pages with adult content.
You can change or withdraw your decision at any time with the "Privacy settings" link in the page footer. More: Google Advertising · Google Ad Settings.
Affiliate links (Awin)
Some links to shops are affiliate links, for example "Buy again" on a spool in the filament tool. We label them as affiliate links. If you buy something there after the click, we get a commission; the price stays the same for you. No script runs on our pages for this, and nothing goes to third parties before the click. Only when you click do we send you on to the shop through the affiliate network Awin (AWIN AG, Eichhornstraße 3, 10785 Berlin, Germany). Awin and the shop receive your IP address, browser details and a click ID so they can match a purchase to the link. Awin and the shop are responsible for cookies on their own sites and ask for your consent where required. We count the clicks ourselves, without any link to your account and without your IP address: time, where the link was, country and search term. Which shop we link to depends on your country. So that alerts from the filament tool (email, Telegram, Discord) name the shop for your country, we keep only the country code (e.g. "US") from which you last opened the filament tool with your account; Cloudflare derives it from your IP address, and we do not store the IP address for this. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in funding the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More: Privacy at Awin.
Visitor statistics (Matomo, self-hosted)
Matomo shows us which pages are used. It runs on our own server (analytics.3dsearch.net); the data goes to no one else and is not used for advertising. Matomo only starts when you agree in the consent dialog, and then records pages visited, referrer, approximate location, browser and device type. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), withdrawal as above.
You pay for the optional Supporter subscription through PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg). We never see your payment details. We store PayPal's subscription ID, plan, term and the payments (amount, date, ID). Legal basis: contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); we keep payment records for seven years because tax law requires it (§ 132 Austrian Federal Fiscal Code, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). PayPal Privacy Statement.
Inviting friends. If you open an invite link (/invite/…), we store its code in a cookie for 30 days so the invitation reaches your sign-up. If you then create an account, we store who invited you and use your print data (printer ID, number and days of finished prints) to check whether the conditions are met. The person who invited you only sees numbers (visits, sign-ups, rewards), not your name. Legal basis: taking part in the offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We delete this link together with your account.
If you use Printers & Filament, we store the spools you enter, the printers you connect, their current status and your print history (file name, start and end time, filament used, cost), linked to your account. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Cloud connections. For Anycubic, Bambu Lab, Creality, Elegoo and Prusa Connect our server signs in to the manufacturer's cloud on your behalf. A password you enter is sent to the manufacturer once for that sign-in and is never stored; we only keep the access tokens the manufacturer issues, encrypted on our server. While you are connected, our server fetches printer status and print history about once a minute and, when you trigger it, sends commands (pause, resume, stop, drying) or uploads a print file. Each manufacturer is an independent controller for the data in its own cloud.
Transfers outside the EU. With Anycubic, Bambu Lab, Creality and Elegoo, the data goes to companies or servers outside the EU for which there is no EU adequacy decision. We therefore connect them only after your explicit consent (Art. 49(1)(a) GDPR), which you give with the checkbox when connecting. The risk: authorities in those countries may be able to access the data, and you may not have the legal remedies available to you in the EU. What is transmitted: your login details or access token, the IDs of your printers, and the commands and print files you send. We record when you consented and to which version of the wording.
Withdrawing consent. Disconnect the cloud under Printers & Filament → Connect. Transfers stop immediately and the stored tokens are deleted. To also end the session at the manufacturer, sign out of all sessions or change your password there.
Local connections. With our Klipper agent or our bridge (Klipper/Moonraker, OctoPrint, PrusaLink), a small program runs in your own network and sends printer status to our server. No third party is involved. Printer passwords and API keys for the bridge are stored encrypted and passed only to your bridge.
Alerts. Printer alerts are sent by email from our own server. If you switch them on, push messages go through your browser's push service, Telegram alerts to the Telegram chat you linked (Telegram, outside the EU) and Discord alerts to the webhook you entered (Discord Inc., USA). They contain the printer name, the name of the print and its status.
Spoolman and Home Assistant. If you import spools from your Spoolman server or connect Home Assistant, data is exchanged only with the server you set up.
Retention. Connections and tokens until you disconnect; spools and print history until you delete them or your account. Consent records as long as your account exists.
The "3DSEARCH" app on Google Play shows this website in Chrome (Trusted Web Activity). This privacy policy applies. Installation and updates are also subject to Google Play's terms.
Data only goes to the parties named above: our host, Cloudflare, Google (advertising, reCAPTCHA, Google sign-in), PayPal, Awin (only when you click an affiliate link), wsrv.nl, GrabCAD and Sketchfab (images), the browsers' push services and – only if you connect them – the printer manufacturers, Telegram and Discord. Transfers to Google and Cloudflare in the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission of July 10, 2023); the printer clouds rely on your consent (section 11). We do not sell data.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR); processing up to then remains lawful.
Write to us through the contact form or at [email protected]. We reply within one month.
Complaints. You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority – in Austria the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, [email protected], www.dsb.gv.at – or with the authority in the EU country where you live.
You do not have to provide any data to search. For an account we need a name and an email address; without them we cannot create it. We do not make automated decisions within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
If our processing changes, we update this policy; the version on this page applies. If something new needs your consent, we ask you first. The German version is the authoritative one.
