Which printers can I connect?

Connect your 3D printer to “Printers & Filament” once. You then see its status and spools, the filament of every print is deducted, and on many printers you start models straight from 3DSEARCH.

Three ways to connect

Manufacturer cloud

You sign in with your account at the manufacturer. Nothing to install.

Agent on the printer

One command line via SSH on the printer or the Raspberry Pi. No port forwarding needed.

Bridge in your home network

Runs on a Pi, a NAS or in Docker, finds your printers on the network by itself and looks after several at once.

Printers

Anycubic

Anycubic account

Kobra S1, Kobra S1 Max, Kobra 3, Kobra 3 V2, Kobra X and other Anycubic printers with cloud

Status Spools (ACE Pro) Deduct Print

ACE Pro and ACE 2 Pro are shown with all slots, including several units. With Rinkhals firmware the printer also works as a Klipper printer.

Creality

Creality account

K1, K1 Max, K1C, K2 series, Ender-3 V3, Hi and other printers in Creality Cloud

Status Spools (CFS) Deduct Print

Printing with CFS mapping is new and still being tested. Rooted K1 printers also work as Klipper printers. The Ender-3 V3 SE and older Enders without Wi-Fi work via OctoPrint.

Bambu Lab

Bambu Lab account

X1, P1, A1 series and H2D

Status Spools (AMS) Deduct Print

Status, AMS and deduction yes – starting prints is not possible because Bambu Lab blocks it for other apps since January 2025.

Elegoo

Elegoo account

Printers in the Elegoo Matrix app, e.g. Centauri Carbon 2

Status Spools (CANVAS) Deduct Print

View only: status, CANVAS slots and print history. New and hardly tested on real printers yet.

Prusa

Prusa Connect or bridge in your home network

MK4/MK4S, MK3.9, Core One, XL, MINI+ and MK3S with Raspberry Pi

Status Spools (MMU) in testing Deduct Print

Two ways: with Prusa Connect you sign in with your Prusa account, nothing to install – status, MMU slots, filament tracking, pause and cancel (beta). Printing from our server currently works only through the bridge, which uses PrusaLink in your home network. We are still looking for testers with real Prusa printers.

Klipper

Agent on the printer or bridge

Voron, Qidi, Sovol, Elegoo Neptune 4, Snapmaker U1, Anycubic with Rinkhals, rooted Creality K1 and every other printer running Klipper with Moonraker

Status Spools (MMU / AFC / QIDI Box) Deduct Print

Works with Mainsail and Fluidd, including multi-colour units (MMU, AFC) and multi-head printers.

Flashforge

Bridge in your home network

AD5X, Adventurer 5M and 5M Pro with the community firmware ZMOD

Status Deduct Print

ZMOD turns the printer into a Klipper printer with Moonraker; you then connect it through the bridge. It does not work with Flashforge’s original firmware. The AD5X’s IFS slots are not shown yet. New – not yet tested on real Flashforge printers.

OctoPrint

Agent on the printer or bridge

Any printer run by OctoPrint, usually a Raspberry Pi on the USB port – e.g. Ender 3, Prusa MK3, Ultimaker 2

Status Deduct Print

On first start OctoPrint asks whether 3DSEARCH may connect – click “Allow” once.

How to connect your printer

  1. Sign up for free or sign in.
  2. Open “Printers & Filament” and go to “Connect printer”.
  3. Pick your manufacturer's tile and follow the steps there – it usually takes two minutes.
Start for free

Free during the beta. Connected in a minute.

Your printer is missing?

Tell us which printer you have: after signing up, the connect wizard has a form for printers that are missing. We take every request into account when planning.
